Our Values

Our Values

Authenticity in every route we chart, intention in every experience we design, and respect for the waters, communities, and guests that make every Marivionta voyage possible and worthwhile.

From a Single Boat to Singapore's Waters

It began not with a business plan, but with a boat and a belief. Marivionta was founded by a group of Singaporean maritime enthusiasts who felt that the city's remarkable waters were being overlooked, and decided to do something about it.

Saturday mornings spent sailing past Kusu Island, late evenings anchored near the Sisters' Islands watching the city glow from afar, early dawn runs along the Singapore River watching the shophouses wake up one light at a time. These were not just voyages. They were the moments that made Singapore feel entirely new again. Marivionta was built to give every guest that same feeling, packaged into thoughtfully designed cruise experiences that honor both the city and the sea it sits on. Today, our fleet sails Singapore's full range of waters, from heritage coastlines to open strait voyages, carrying guests who come seeking something the city simply cannot offer from dry land.

FAQs

Do I need prior sailing or sea experience to join a Marivionta cruise?

Not at all. Every Marivionta cruise is designed to be fully accessible regardless of your experience with the sea. Our onboard crew handles all navigation and sailing, so all you need to bring is yourself and a sense of curiosity.

Are Marivionta cruises suitable for children and families?

Several of our cruises are well suited for families, including the Southern Islands Day Sail and the Marina Bay Horizon Loop. We recommend checking the individual cruise pages for suitability guidance, and our team is always happy to advise based on your group's needs.

Can I book a Marivionta cruise for a private event or celebration?

Yes. All Marivionta cruises are available for private charters, making them a distinctive choice for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate outings, and other celebrations. Private bookings can be customized in terms of catering, itinerary, and onboard arrangements to suit your occasion.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on my departure date?

Guest safety is always our first consideration. In the event of adverse weather conditions, Marivionta reserves the right to reschedule or modify a voyage accordingly. Guests are notified as early as possible, and our team works closely with each booking to find a suitable alternative date.

What should I bring on board a Marivionta cruise?

We recommend comfortable clothing suited to the sea breeze and sunscreen you may require. For overnight voyages, a light overnight bag with essentials is sufficient as cabins are well equipped. A full packing guide is shared with guests upon booking confirmation.
