By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

Our operations are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and regulations set forth by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

1. Scope of Services

Marivionta provides refined maritime experiences, offering both one-day and multi-day cruise escapes. All voyages are conducted strictly within Singapore's territorial boundaries.

  • Website Content: Our digital platform serves as a catalog for our cruise options. While we strive for absolute accuracy in our descriptions, the final itinerary and service details are subject to the specific agreement made during your in-person consultation.
  • Consultation Requirement: Due to the bespoke nature of our services, a physical consultation at our office (Goldbell Towers, 47 Scotts Rd, Singapore 228233) is a mandatory prerequisite for all bookings.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

To ensure full transparency and compliance with Google Ads Misrepresentation Policies, we outline our unique payment structure below:

  • Inquiry: You may request a consultation via our website form. This request does not constitute a confirmed booking or a fiscal obligation.
  • Consultation & Customization: During your meeting with a Marivionta representative, we will finalize your itinerary, guest count, and specific requirements.
  • Final Payment: Upon your satisfaction with the customized itinerary, full payment must be made in Cash at our Singapore office. We do not accept online payments or credit card transactions at this time.
  • Confirmation: A booking is considered "Confirmed" only after the cash payment is received and a physical receipt is issued.

3. Eligibility and Conduct

  • Age Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to book a consultation or cruise. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times during the voyage.
  • Identification: In accordance with MPA regulations, all passengers must provide valid identification (NRIC for citizens/PRs or Passports for international visitors) for the maritime manifest prior to boarding.
  • Safety Compliance: Passengers must adhere to all safety briefings and instructions provided by the captain and crew. Marivionta reserves the right to refuse service or remove any individual whose conduct is deemed a safety risk, without a refund.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policies are strictly enforced to manage the high operational costs associated with maritime departures.

  • Standard Cancellation:
    • Full Refund: Requests made more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure.
    • 50% Refund: Requests made between 0 and 48 hours before departure.
    • No Refund: Failure to show up for the scheduled departure (No-Show).
  • Refund Disbursement: Refunds are processed via Cash (at our office) or Bank Transfer. Bank transfers are initiated within 1 business day of receiving your details but may take 9–10 business days to reflect in your account.
  • Weather and Procedural Delays: If a cruise is canceled by Marivionta due to adverse weather (as defined by MPA) or procedural safety issues, you will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled date.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Marivionta and protected by Singapore and international copyright laws. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this material is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act:

  • Marivionta shall not be held liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by our gross negligence.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by maritime traffic, port authority directives, or unforeseen environmental factors.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific booking in question.

7. Data Privacy and Communication

Your privacy is paramount. By providing your information through our website or during your consultation, you consent to our collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • Google Ads Disclosure: We use tracking technologies to improve user experience and deliver relevant advertising. You may opt-out of personalized ads through your Google account settings.
  • Official Correspondence: All fiscal and booking communications will be sent from cruise@marivionta.com. Marivionta will never ask for your bank details via SMS or third-party messaging apps.

8. Prohibited Practices

Users are prohibited from:

  • Using the website to transmit any fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful material.
  • Attempting to bypass our consultation-based booking process.
  • Misrepresenting their identity or providing false information for the maritime manifest.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided by Marivionta shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
